Kayak in Helgeland, Norway – Overnight trip

Experience the midnight sun, there are very few people that have the chance and to do it in while paddling in a fantastic place is hard to beat. You will be surrounded by high cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches and waterfalls roaring into the sea.
The route takes us to the steep landscape of Nordfjord.

The tour goes between small and large islands. Characteristic of the islands are sandy beaches and clear Mediterranean-green waters. Since some of the islands are still inhabited, we get a glimpse of life and cultural in this rugged area. During parts of the tour we will be paddling in exposed areas where we will lack protection against the wind and weather. Therefore, it is essential that you have previous experience of kayaking.

We are trying to overnight on a new island every night. Our guides always have the latest weather updates and will always adjust the route according to the weather and our guest’s level. We carry all the food and drinking water with us in our kayaks. There are no showers or toilets on the islands we visit.

This tour is directed against those who have paddled experience and may want to push their boundaries a little. This tour is also for those who are accustomed to camping.

We will paddle approximately 3-5h a day, about 15-25km, depending on the weather.
