Corporate Social Responsibility

At 2Tides we believe in a high sustainability. We work constantly to improve both our products and the areas we are active in.

Sustainability for us is quite simply about taking responsibility for both our guides and our guests, and for future generations and the environment.

It is 2Tides belief that a responsible business is one of the most important requirements for a long-term success. Therefore, the link between economic, social and environmental sustainability is self-evident to us.

We believe in a healthy and natural living for all of us, and a sustainable nature for future generations.

We understandably want to ensure a profitable long-term growth, but at the same time contribute to a better environmental sustainability for all.

2Tides business idea is to offer responsible experiences that give the guest a better understanding of the environment around us, while not affecting the nature negatively. Therefore we supply adventures that are affordable and educational for those who want an active experience.

Our tours/experiences are ecologically sustainable. We guide only small groups, which mean less wear and tear, it also leads to a more close experience with the nature. We also try and support the local businesses as much as we can on our trips. We buy local food when possible and mostly organically grown food for our adventures.

Our guides provide information on important environmental issues in the areas we operate in and teach guests about nature reserves, bird sanctuary and the public right of access in Sweden. This way we believe that we can preserve the nature and the animals for future generations.

We maintain our equipment as long as possible and ensure that we only buy gear from companies that have a good sustainability plan. We separate our waste and compost on all our tours and never leave anything behind, which does not belong there. We never make fires on the ground for the risk of forest fires and we respect all other visitors and animals in the wild.

Our tours go to many places where it can be difficult to get to by motorized transport, which is why we hire only the most qualified guides on the market, which all have extensive first aid training. We work continuously with our organization and offer all our guides good working conditions and benefits. We also ensure that those who work for us keep further educating themselves not only for us but also for their own personal gain. This way, we believe our employees can influence and develop our business to a long-term success.
